I wrote to John to inform him about a potential fan-run promotion for the show. There is a sci-fi convention, known as WOLF, that is held every year in London (this year during the first weekend in July). Due to the high percentage of sci-fi actors amongst the Mag 7 cast, we are planning to take the chance to do some promotion for the show. This has been cleared by the show organisers (obviously on a small scale) so I wrote to ask John for his permission to show the pilot and to check that we weren't breaking any guidelines. He kindly wrote back immediately and offered some fantastic support!

Many thanks for your letter. I am in awe of the amount of effort fans have been prepared to give on behalf of our show. I enclose a copy of the 5-minute trailer and some pictures. I see no problem in showing your copy of the pilot as long as it is a top-quality version and there is no perceived commercial purpose.
