Fans brought back the series once, but can they do it again? When CBS decided to cancel the western drama "The Magnificent Seven" last midseason, fans rallied around the show, and, with an ad, letter writing and Internet campaign, helped bring the show back. Now, in light of the fact that "The Magnificent Seven" was noticeably missing from the list a dozen shows CBS renewed this week, fans may have to start that campaign all over. Eric Close, who plays bounty hunter Vin Tanner on the series, is confident that the fan support will show itself once again. "It makes you feel good that people love the show and are willing to go to bat for you," he tells TV Guide. "They bombarded the network with letters and e-mail and gifts. If CBS doesn't pick up the show, I'm sure they'll go crazy again." "The Magnificent Seven" airs Fridays at 9 p.m. on CBS.
