I have had that asked of me many times since I first posted about PWNUSTIEEXF. UST means Unresolved Sexual Tension. It is slightly different from 'Shippyness, but I think you could classify them as the same thing. 'Shippyness is the whole intimate relationship aspect of the show, for example a'shippy scene is any scene in which Mulder and Scully touch each other unnecessarily. Have you guys ever noticed that Mulder puts his hand on Scully's back to guide her places a lot? Or the hug in Terma, it's a 'shippy scene, but it can also be classified as a USTy scene. This being because you could tell they both wanted more! The conversation on the bench in the episode Home is a 'shippy scene, ie., Mulder rubs Scully's back. UST would be looks between the two in which you know they are thinking "God, I want you!" Such as the look in Home when Scully asks if there is a history of genetic abnormalities in your family and then Mulder leers at her and she leers back:)
