Ren was born on Earth in 2345 and raised in the Marilyn Weller Home for Troubled Children. Her first application to Starfleet Academy was rejected which made her try harder and eventually succeed.

Before long at the Academy, Ren became a leader and organizer of group activities. Her instructors took notice and encouraged her to work towards Officer's Training.

She was first assigned to the USS Endeavour as Crewmaster, but later switched to Security after her divorce from her husband of two years, Justin. Ren enjoys any card game ever heard of and enjoys spending time with friends along with poker, Parisses squares and martial arts. She is 1.65 meters tall with brown hair and green eyes. She is single.

Current Status: Lt.(jg) Ren Carstairs is Missing In Action after a classified mission to Den'a, presumed dead. All details of the mission are classified.

Lt. jg. Ren Carstairs was rescued from the planet of Den'a and is currently undergoing extensive medical treatment for her physical and mental wounds.
