Lt. Cmdr. Kimberly Fredricks was a Starfleet Intelligence Operative temporarily stationed on Earth when she met Anders Wahlberg, a meager farmer from Scandinavia. The two quickly were in love and were soon after married. Kimberly's temporary stay on Earth eventually stretched into a year and then another. It was during this time that the couple had their only son, Johann. Only a month after Johann was born, Starfleet Security ordered Kimberly to leave Earth and begin an undercover mission in Romulan space. Kimberly and Anders could not compromise their relationship and parted after an angry dispute. Johann remained on earth with his father.

Kimberly spent a year and a half on a recon mission on board a Romulan scout ship, but she was discovered just as her mission was coming to a close. She was taken back to Romulus to be executed after a brutal interrogation. The prisoner vessel she was on was intercepted on route to Romulus by a band of Rigelian pirates who bordered and pillaged the ship, taking the prisoners with them.

Kimberly fell madly in love with the dashing Rigelian Captain and with him conceived her second child, Raymond. Shortly following Raymond's birth, the Rigelian captain was apprehended by his own government and sentenced to death on Rigel IV.

Kimberly and her infant son made their way back to Earth, where she was commended by Starfleet, receiving a promotion to Captain and a new posting as Tactical Coordinator on Starbase 99. She brought Raymond with her, giving him her name and never telling him of his father.

Raymond grew up on the Starbase, amid the relentless teachings and regulations of Starfleet. By the time he was a teenager, it was all he could think about and as soon as he was old enough, he entered the Academy. He studied extensively in technical sciences, astrogation and flight control and kept his grades high during the four years he was there. He left the Academy as a junior grade ensign and was posted on board the Federation transport ships, the SS Mead.

He spent two uneventful years flying the Mead. He desired more challenging work, and felt he deserved it. His dreams were finally realized when he was inexplicably promoted to the position of Astrogation Plotter on the USS Endeavour. His thrill was cut short when he received a message from Starfleet telling of the death of his half brother, Johann, who he had only known from what his mother had told of him.

Emotionally confused, he arrived at Utopia Planetia ready to begin his service on the Endeavour. He has successfully put the events of the past behind and believes he is capable of fulfilling his new positions.

Raymond loves to write stories, poetry, plays and songs and can draw from the tumultuous events of his life for his works. He is an accomplished guitarist and played in numerous contemporary bands during his time at the Academy.

Ray is a Human/Rigelian male, 6' 8", 2.03 meters, well built with dark hair, dark complexion and green eyes.
