GENETIC DRUGS

Deuridium--Rare substance used by the Kobliad race to stabilize their cell structures to prolong their lives.
Ketrecel White--Key isogenic enzyme that the Jem'Hadar are unable to produce themselves and must be provided by the Vorta. Without a constant supply it will lead to circulatory system failure. It cannot be replicated, however initial experiments with triglycerides show they can be used but only for a short time.
Pheromones--Biochemicals secreted by many carbon-based life-forms, whose scent affects the behavior of other members of the same or similar species. Certain pheromones control the degree of sexual attractiveness attributed to an individual. Empathic metamorphs produce highly elevated levels of a substance similar to pheromones during the final stage of their sexual maturation.
Tesakine--Drug used in high doses to allow a humanoid fetus to metabolise Bajoran nutrients after the fetus is transferred from a humanoid body to a Bajoran one.

NEURAL DRUGS

Acetylcholine--Biochemical substance, a neurotransmitter that promotes the propagation of electrical impulses from one nerve cell to another in carbon based lifeforms.
Cryptobiolin--One of several chemicals used by the Angosians during the Tarsian War to improve their soldiers, making them more effective in combat.
Endorphins--Naturally occurring neurochemicals found in many humanoids and other vertebrate species. Endorphins are opiate peptides similar to the drug morphine, and can act upon the nervous system to affect sensations of pain and pleasure.
Ico-tectamine--Medium strength memory inhancer.
Immunosuppressant--Any of several drugs designed to limit immune response in humanoids.
Isoboramine--An important neurotransmitter in Trills. It mediates the synaptic functions between the host and symbiont. If the level of this chemical gets too low the symbiont must be removed, leading to the death of the host.
Lexorin--Medication used to counteract Dr. McCoy's mental disorientation when he was suffering the side effects of carrying Spock's katra within his own mind.
Macrospentol--One of several chemicals used by the Angosians during the Tarsian War to "improve" their soldiers, making them more effective in combat. Unfortunately, the effects of many of these drugs were irreversible.
Metabolic Reduction Injection--Medication synthesized by Henoch so that Kirk, Spock, and Dr. Ann Mulhall's bodies could carry the intellects of Sargon, Henoch, and Thalassa. The drug reduced heart rate and all bodily functions to normal, allowing the three to occupy the humanoid bodies without permanent damage to those bodies.
Neural Paralyzer--Medication that can cause a cessation of heartbeat and breathing in a humanoid patient, creating the appearance of death. If such a patient receives medical treatment in time, a full recovery is possible.
Neurocene Gas--Lethal toxin commonly used in Cardassian security systems.
Neurotransmitter--Biochemical associated with the propagation of electrical energy between neurons in humanoid nervous systems.
Serotonin--Enzyme that serves as a central neurotransmitter in humanoid nervous systems.
Tricordrazine--A powerful neurostimulant drug.
Type-5 Gradulizine--Drug used to stimulate synaptic brain functions.
Type-10 Troaline--Drug used to stimulate synaptic spinal functions.

NARCOTICS

Felicium--A narcotic substance produced from plants on the planet Brekka. Felicium has other medicinal properties, and was used, centuries ago, to cure a deadly plague on neighboring planet Ornara.

Kironide--Chemical compund found in the food on planet Platonius. Kironide is a long-lasting source of great power that, when ingested, endows many humanoids with extraordinary psychokinetic powers. The Platonians absorbed kironide into their bodies, giving them such powers, although their servant Alexander was unable to do so.
Quadroline--An emergency drug used on the planet Malcor III.
Triox Compound--Medication used to help a patient breathe more easily in a thin or oxygen deprived atmosphere.

Venus Drug--An illegal substance believed to make women more beautiful and men more handsome and attractive to the opposite sex. Although the drug appeared to be highly effective when used to enhance the appearance of Mudd's women, it was later noted that a placebo does, consisting of inert gelatin, had a similar effect when ingested by Eve McHuron, suggesting that belief in oneself remains the most effective enhancement of all.
