Albert Beckett is a 36 year old, human male from the planet Earth. He is married to Ensign Samantha Beckett, Nurse and he is 5'9", brown hair, brown eyes, medium build.

Al Beckett was born in a small town in Indiana. His father was a doctor and his mother was a psychologist. Al followed in his father's footsteps and went into the medical field, but he had always had an interest in exploration so he decided to enlist in Starfleet Medical.

After graduation, Al served at Starbase 260 for 4 years, the USS Bradbury for 5 years and on the USS Excaliber for 3 years. It was at his previous assignment, the USS Excaliber that he met Samantha Muldaur who would become his wife, Samantha Beckett.

Al loves his work but has many interests outside the medical field. He has a passion for Jazz but only listens to it and does not play. He is also quite a Dom Jot player. But mostly he enjoys a quiet evening at home with his wife.
