Steve Morgan is a human male, 27 years old, born on the planet Earth. He is 6' 1", 1.85 meters tall with black hair, pale blue eyes, thin and single. He has a pleasant temper and smiles often.

Steven Andrew Morgan was born and raised in Iowa. Not exactly someplace that might inspire someone to a career in Starfleet--unless you study James Tiberius Kirk, which is exactly what young Steve did. From the age of five on, Steve was enthralled by stories of the original Enterprise's exploits, especially those of her gallant captain.

To Steve's way of thinking, if Iowa farm boy James Kirk could have exciting adventures in space, so could he. The problem was that Steve, being the only son, was expected to follow in his father's footsteps. Well, that was no job for a boy who dreamed of fighting Romulans on the Neutral Zone, and gorging new alliances with undiscovered races.

Finally, after weeks of arguing during which Steve thought he'd never get out of Iowa, much less off of Earth, his father agreed to a compromise. If Steve agreed to go into Medical rather than Command, he could go to the Academy. It wasn't exactly what he'd hoped for, but it was a start.

Steve had planned to become a doctor, but he chose the much shorter Med Tech program. His parents weren't thrilled with his abbreviated studies, but they understood his desire to explore space. So Steve requested an assignment to the Endeavour the minute his training was done. Thanks to his excellent grades, he received it and was off to try and live his dream of exploring "strange new worlds."
