Priscilla Nates was born the youngest of nine, with eight older brothers, in Phoenix, AZ. Though often mischevious and tomboyish as a child, she was doted on and spoiled by all of her older brothers. Priscilla left home at 17 to join Starfleet Academy. She attended there for two years, but left for reasons unclear at the end of her second year. Sometime in the next few months, she gave birth to a daughter. The child was adopted by Priscilla's brother and sister-in-law, William and Ekaterina (Katya) Nates. After pretty much spending a year in limbo, Priscilla landed a job on the USS Endeavour as a server in Jake's Place, the ships ten-forward. While on the ship, her brother and sister-in-law were killed in a Maquis attack, and her daughter, Carley (then three) returned to live with her mother. Mother and daughter now reside on DS13.
