"PERSONAL LOG: LT. KYLAH DANNON"

by April Smith

Well, it's interesting, to say the least, being on this new station. Everything looks so new and different than it did on the Endeavour! It's been a pain and a half trying to get everything in the cargo bays stored away, and we're still not finished. Thank goodness I have such a wonderful crew.

My new quarters are a bit larger and nicer. I think I'm really going to like working on the station. I know that it's going to be a place for major sporting events, but I haven't yet checked to see if they have a ice rink. I hope so! I haven't had a chance to get some rink time in for ages. My poor body has probably forgotten how to do a triple axle. If there is no rink the holodecks will have to suffice.

I still haven't told Priscilla about Alexei, the dig, and what happened on Betazed. I think she knows something is going on, but is afraid to ask. She has her own life to worry about. Carley, Lyndon, and her job take enough time and worries, so I don't want to burden her. Still, sometimes I'd just like to confide all.

The party tomorrow night to celebrate the opening of the station is going to be difficult. Yes, it does promise to be as interesting and entertaining as some of the parties we had on the Endeavour, but I'm not sure if I'm ready for this. I may still go.....I don't know yet.

Well, it's late and I need to get up early in the morning for my shift. Ah.....the simple comforts of a soft, warm bed and a few hours sleep.......

End log.
