Tressa is a Terran, 32 years old, 5' 10" tall with waist length dark brown hair and green eyes. She was born on Otar II to Georgia Felicia Grant and Ricardo S. Valda.

Her mother was a restaurant worker on the Starbase located on the planet and met her father when the luxury liner on which he worked, the Antares Prize, visited there. Her parents fell in love, married and had three children--Tressa, Destiny and Isadore, then divorced after 10 years of marriage.

Her mother is on her third marriage now and her father is still single and is now the Captain of the Antares Prize. Her mother still lives and works on the Starbase on Otar II.

Tressa keeps in touch with both of her parents as much as possible, although she is not very close to either of them.

At 18 years of age, Tressa moved from Otar II with her best friend, Anna Margolis to Earth where she attended college. She received her Master's Degree in Business Management and a minor in Social Communications.

When she was 24, she was hired by the CSMD--Civilian Space Management Division of the United Federation of Planets.

Prior to getting the job on Starbase 114, Tressa worked on Earth with few trips off world. She was chosen for the job of Management Assistant to the Commander of Starbase 114 for her excellent record and easy ability to communicate with all species.

Tressa falls in love easily and was married at one time to Steven Ryan Rousselieu for four years until she caught him with another woman. While she loves to party, especially dancing, she never lets it interfere with her career and is a hard and honest worker.
