Art Deco World

Imagine a world where there was no WWII, no WWI, no slavery, and limited European immigration to the new world.

It's the year 2000, but we still have vacuum tubes and propeller planes. Computers are a figment in the imagination, and people talk about going to the moon one day.

	We are a lot more "traditional" than the people in your world. You see very few teenagers with nose-rings and spiked hair. Most people go to the city, and get careers, but a few take a much slower pace.

	Money is not seen as important in our world, but most people try to act "professional" We only work three days a week, but we dress "appropriately"
	We do not have jets in our world, only propeller planes, but we take helicopters to work.

Work is not boring on our world, just this year we started building B&W televisions, we are even talking about making them in colour one day.

Most people still prefer tube radios, people find it boring to stare for hours and hours at other people playing sports, they prefer to "Go Out" and have fun.

"Going out" is a big deal in our world, we have lots of fancy restaurants with gourmet food.

Life is to be enjoyed. We all want to be happy. Couples spend a lot of time together.

We love music and art.

For long distance travel, we use Zeppelins. They are very luxurious. Like floating cruise ships.

A trip from London to Tokyo takes only five days.

There is no discrimination in our world against people who are "different" because we value people as individuals, not as cogs in a giant machine.

People are not forced to go to work, we try to make room for everybody.

Our greatest joy is our children.

	Kids spend very little time studying, they prefer to play games instead. We let them enjoy life, that's what's important. There are no schools in our world.
	Most children have pets. This teaches them to be responsible, as well as being a lot more fun than sitting in a chair for hours and hours.
	People in our world are always happy. They are not worried about getting fired or starving to death. We have plenty of food and share it.

We enjoy playing music and our music is similar to symphonies. Our people's music is not dirty words that rhyme.

In our world there is no "Gangsta Rap"

Lately we have been getting a flood of people from your world coming to ours. They are trying to escape the Fascist Police States of America. A racist regime ruled by giant corporations, where police beat up people if the color of their skin is wrong.

Most have useless skills like - "Web Designer", "Computer Programmer", "Tax Accountant", or "Bankruptcy Lawyer".

We are re-training them now as watrons. They are a lot happier now.
