Scream 2: Another Version

Written By: JJ

RANDY and LUCY are standing outside a regular diner, looking at the menu, figuring out what they want to order. They have been seeing each other for about a year and are very much in love with each other. Since RANDY’S experience about a year and a half ago, he has undergone six months of therapy and has become a little touchy about the whole “murdering” subject.

LUCY
So, what are you gonna get? There’s really nothing here.

RANDY
Are you kidding? There are a million things here.

LUCY
Like what?

RANDY smiles and puts his arms around her, kisses her neck.

RANDY
Like you.

LUCY
That was the sappiest line I’ve ever heard from you.

RANDY
No, this one is: You’re so sweet you make my teeth rot.

LUCY
(Wincing)Eww, you’re right. You want something sweet? Let’s get ice cream.

RANDY
Holding her hand, both starting toward ice cream store down the street.
So, what are you gonna get?

LUCY
Randy-flavored.

RANDY
I don’t think they sell that flavor.

LUCY
Then I’ll just have to get some of my own.

LUCY kisses him, catching him by surprise. A speeding black car narrowly misses them.

RANDY
Sweetie, I love you, but you’re going to get us killed.

LUCY
Well, if we are killed, promise me one thing?

RANDY
What?

LUCY
That we’ll be together until the very end?

RANDY
He looks at her curiously, at such an odd request. He’d already had one run-in with death; he didn’t want to think of another one!
Uh, sure.

LUCY
Looks at RANDY, who seems unsure.
Do you mean it?

RANDY
Defensive; he does love her.
I do, I do! It’s just that…

LUCY
What?

RANDY
I’d rather not think about us dying.

LUCY
Oh. I understand.
They share a tender moment and kiss again.
Let’s go.

As BOTH walk down sidewalk to ice cream store, the WHITE-FACED KILLER lurks around a corner. This is a new KILLER, dressed like MICHAEL MYERS from HALLOWEEN. He has an evil motive, and is a cold-blooded KILLER. He watches RANDY and LUCY from the corner.

CUT to ice cream shop. LUCY and RANDY walk over to the counter and look up at flavors. The board is filled with selections like “peach fuzz,” “cinnamon apple swirl,” and “spumoni.”

RANDY
Spumoni? Isn’t that pasta or something?

LUCY
Sounds like it.

RANDY
How about Rocky Road?

LUCY
Okay. Get a large. I’ll sit down.

She touches RANDY’S arm and finds a booth. While LUCY sits, the bell on the door jingles. SIDNEY PRESCOTT enters, thinking she saw RANDY from the outside. She has not seen RANDY all summer. Instead, she sees LUCY. Figuring that seeing RANDY was a figment of her imagination, she turns around and leaves.
LUCY looks up and sees SIDNEY. She starts to cough dramatically to catch SIDNEY’S attention as RANDY turns around.

RANDY
Lucy, what’s wrong?

LUCY
Don’t you know that girl?

RANDY
What girl?…
He looks up and sees SIDNEY, for the first time since graduation.
Sid?

SIDNEY turns around.

SIDNEY
Randy?

RANDY
Yeah!
He goes over to her and they hug.
SIDNEY
So, how have you been?
She is a little hesitant in her asking. She knows what he’s been through.

RANDY
Well, you know. It’s been a little rough, but I’m pretty much okay now.

SIDNEY
Pointing to LUCY.
Is that your girlfriend?

RANDY
Looks toward LUCY. Waves her over.
Yeah! Yeah, this is Lucy Strode. We met after graduation and we’ve been going out ever since.

SIDNEY
Hi.

LUCY
Hi. Randy’s told me a lot about you.

SIDNEY
Assumes she’s talking about the murders.
Oh, God. Yeah, I’ve had some bad luck with men, but at least now I can joke about it…
RANDY is giving her signals not to talk about it.
I mean, uh…

LUCY
What?…

RANDY
She means this boyfriend that she had. He was a real, uh, jerk. I’ve never told you about him.
Changing the subject.
So, Sid, you wanna stay for ice cream? My treat?

SIDNEY
Yeah, sure. I’d love to. I actually was looking for you. We need to talk.
Remembers the information LUCY apparently doesn’t know yet.
About Gale Weathers. She came to my house.

RANDY
What?
Sits down with LUCY and SIDNEY in booth.

LUCY
Gale Weathers? From Top Story? Why would she come to your house?

RANDY
Realizing that he must tell her at least this secret.
About three years ago, Sidney’s mother was killed and Gale Weathers wrote a book about it. She hasn’t left Sidney or her father alone since it happened.

LUCY
Oh, right! What a conniving little bitch she is. I heard she wrote another book about another murder and is making a movie out of it. It’s called STAB. It looks stupid, though. Randy, promise you’ll never take me to see that?

RANDY
Looks at SIDNEY.
No problem. I know how you hate scary movies.

SIDNEY
Wait a second…You don’t like scary movies? How in the world did you end up with Randy?

RANDY
Come on, Sid. There’s more to me than scary movies.

SIDNEY
Laughs.
Not much.

LUCY
Are you kidding? He was so sweet when I first met him! I was looking for a video and he came up behind me. I wasn’t expecting it, so I screamed and he dropped about eight tapes! I felt so bad, so I helped him pick them up. And my favorite movie, Ghost, was there! So we talked, and I liked him, and he said to me…oh, what did you say? It was so sweet…

RANDY
I asked if you might want to see it with me, ‘cuz I liked it, too. Then I said something about popcorn salt getting into hangnails and stinging, and she laughed at me.

LUCY
It doesn’t really sound that cute, but it was. I didn’t even know he was into scary movies until nearly a year later.

SIDNEY
Shocked at how the incident had affected RANDY.
A year?

RANDY
A year. Almost a year and a half.
He and SIDNEY are having a conversation of their own.

SIDNEY
It must have been pretty hard for you to hide that, huh, Randy?

RANDY
You have no idea.

SIDNEY
Yes, I do.

LUCY is lost. She has no idea what’s going on between RANDY and SIDNEY. LUCY rubs RANDY‘S shoulder. He snaps to attention and kisses her hand. SIDNEY smiles.
Scene ends.

SIDNEY and RANDY are in SIDNEY’S car, driving from LUCY’S house. SIDNEY is rather upset that RANDY hasn’t told her about the murders and their involvement.

SIDNEY
Seriously, Randy! How could you not tell her? From the way you’re talking, it seems like it would be impossible for her not to notice something. And how the hell did she not recognize the names? Or the murders? Does she live in a fucking cave?

RANDY
No, Canada. She moved here a month after graduation. I met her the day she got here.

SIDNEY
Then how did she know about Gale’s book? And STAB?

RANDY
She’s an internet junkie. She looks into those things. I guess she went web-surfing and found out. I sure as shit didn’t tell her.

SIDNEY
Why didn’t you tell her? Why won’t you tell her?

RANDY
You heard her talking, Sid. She hates scary movies. What would she think of me if she finds out that I’ve lived one?

SIDNEY
She’d probably feel terrible that you’ve lived through such a harrowing experience and become closer to you. Randy, there’s a difference between real life and movies. Movies are fake, life is real, and it’s a lot scarier when it’s real.

RANDY
I guess you’re right. But what if she finds out now? She’ll leave! She’ll never trust me again.

SIDNEY
All the better for you to be honest with her now. Sit her down, Randy, give her time to understand. I promise you she will. She doesn’t seem like the kind of girl who would leave you in the gutter.

RANDY
She isn’t. You’re right again. She would understand.

SIDNEY
Good.

RANDY
And if she ever asks, I’ll definitely tell her.

SIDNEY
Randy…

SIDNEY sees RANDY ‘S house and pulls into the driveway.

RANDY
Gets out of the car and peeks in passenger side window.

Sid, I can’t just tell her. I have to work up to it. You don’t know what it’s like to tell someone something so important.

SIDNEY
Apalled.
What?! Randy, I was there, too! Don’t you think I’ve been through the same hell as you? Don’t you think I’ve had to tell my boyfriend the same exact thing?…
SIDNEY has grown more and more angry with RANDY and his attitude.

RANDY
Defensive, but a little jealous because she mentioned a boyfriend.
Sid, you don’t understand, listen to me…

SIDNEY
No! Randy, you didn’t lose your best friend. You didn’t have to live with the fact that someone you loved was a killer and tried to kill you and your family, then have to kill that person yourself. You didn’t lose anything, Randy. I lost everything.

RANDY
Hurt; he thought he and SIDNEY had survived together.
No, you didn’t.

SIDNEY
She looks at him, realizing what he might be getting at, but still angry.
Goodbye, Randy.

She shifts the car in reverse and drives away. RANDY watches the car speed away, then walks inside his house. Meanwhile, the KILLER is standing by the side of RANDY‘S house.
This KILLER has read about the first killer’s phone antics and decided to copy him to throw his victims and the police off track. He whips out his cell phone and dials.

Inside, RANDY‘S phone rings. Without thinking, he answers it.

RANDY
Hello?

VOICE
I see you had a little fight in the driveway.

RANDY
What the hell?…
Huh? Who is this?

VOICE
A friend.

RANDY
I think you’re mistaken. I know none of my friends would call me like this.
He finally remembers the incident and looks out the window though the curtains.
Who are you?

VOICE
I told you. A friend.

RANDY
Quit bullshitting me. Who are you?

VOICE
I’m one of your friends. Why don’t you trust me?

RANDY
Decides to test him.
Fine. If you’re a “friend,” then what’s hanging up on my dorm ceiling?

VOICE
I’ve never been to your dorm. I only know you from Woodsboro High.

RANDY
Yeah, right.
Woodsboro High?

VOICE
Yes.

RANDY
Well, for your information, there is nothing hanging from my dorm ceiling. And if you’re a “friend,” then what’s my name?

VOICE
Randall Adam Meeks.

RANDY
Aww, shit. He knows my name, even my middle name.
RANDY looks around his house and sees his high school diploma, his name in dark black letters, visible to anyone nearby. If this guy is a stranger and he knows his whole name and where he graduated from, then he must have been able to read his diploma, and therefore, must be close…
Yeah, well, if you were a friend, you wouldn’t have called me ‘Randall.’

RANDY hangs up the phone to dial 911. He doesn’t have time. The KILLER breaks through the window with a branch. RANDY runs upstairs.

Damn, why’d I just do that? If there’s a killer in your house you don’t run up the stairs…
He shuts his bedroom door and looks out his second story window. It’s a long way down. He hears a bang on his door. The wood is breaking. Time is running out. RANDY looks down again. The ground seems to do that weird Vertigo camera effect. RANDY weighs out the odds: slashed to bits or a couple of broken limbs. He opens the window.

The KILLER has broken into the room and rushed over to RANDY. RANDY screams when he hears the crash, then looks over. He gasps and recoils in disbelief when he sees the KILLER.
Oh, shit! Michael Myers? That’s bullshit, complete bullshit!

The KILLER draws his knife and grabs RANDY‘S arm. RANDY struggles as the KILLER cuts his forearm with the knife. Blood drips onto the rug while RANDY struggles more to reach the window. RANDY uses all his strength to push the KILLER away and succeeds, for the moment. This wins him enough time to stick his leg out the window and prepare himself to jump.
Here goes nothing.
He looks at his arm.
Ewww.
RANDY is now completely out the window, holding onto the ledge. He looks down and behind him, then back at the window. The KILLER is holding the knife up again and RANDY screams. He has no choice but to jump. The KILLER sees another opportunity and puts his hands on the window, to close it. RANDY shakes his head. Before the KILLER can slam the window down on RANDY‘S fingers, RANDY throws himself backward, screaming on the way down. He hits a semi-soft, grassy area and groans when he hits the ground. Even though he’s landed flat on his back, he didn’t hear anything snap, crack, or pop, so he assumes he’s okay. Grasping his bloody arm, he runs to the front yard. Nobody’s there. Thinking quickly, he runs next door. When he arrives, he pounds on the door.
Help! Please, open up! Help!

His grumpy neighbor, MR. O’MALLEY, answers the door.

MR. O’MALLEY
Kid, what the hell is your problem?

RANDY
There’s a killer in my house. I have to use your phone. Please, let me in?

MR. O’MALLEY
Are you bleeding?

RANDY
Becoming hysterical.
No, it’s ketchup, there’s ketchup running through my veins and onto your front stoop. Excuse me.
He pushes MR. O’MALLEY out of his way and goes inside, closing and locking the door behind him. After finding a phone, a woman comes in from the kitchen, MRS. O’MALLEY.

MRS. O’MALLEY
Excuse me, young man…

RANDY
Into phone.
Hello?…Yes, my name is Randy, and there’s a killer in my house…

MRS. O’MALLEY
What?!

MR. O’MALLEY
He just barged in, Peg! I can’t believe the manners these kids have!

RANDY
I’m not at my house right now…Why? I told you there’s a killer in there! He slashed my arm open and chased me out of a second story window…

MRS. O’MALLEY
Oh, my God! He’s bleeding all over the carpet!
She runs into the kitchen for some towels.

RANDY
To MR. O’MALLEY.
What’s the house number here?

MR. O’MALLEY
Seventeen, why?

RANDY
I’m at 17 Pine Road. The killer’s at 19 Pine Road…How serious? Well, it’s throbbing, actually…

MRS. O’MALLEY reenters with towels. RANDY takes one and wraps it around his arm.

MRS. O’MALLEY
What do you think you’re doing?

RANDY
To MRS. O’MALLEY
Trying not to bleed to death, do you mind?
Back into phone.
Randy, Randy Meeks…Thank you.
He hangs up the phone, then realizes that he’s in a stranger’s home.
The O’MALLEYS are staring at him. RANDY takes another towel, feeling faint, and wraps it around the first towel on his arm, which is drenched in blood. He sits himself in the chair next to the phone table.
I’m sorry I’m ruining your towels.
He feels dizzy, then faints.
Scene ends.

The next scene opens with the O’MALLEYS outside, talking to SHERIFF BURKE.

MR. O’MALLEY
…He just came barging in on us, yelling about a killer being in his house, then he called the police.

SHERIFF BURKE
Did he say anything to you about the killer?

MR. O’MALLEY
Not really, just that he was in his house. I noticed he was bleeding everywhere, though.

BURKE
Bleeding?

MRS. O’MALLEY
Yes, profusely. He drenched two of my towels with blood. I had no idea what to do.

BURKE
Did either of you see the killer? Someone with a black robe and a white ghost mask, maybe?

MR. O’MALLEY
No, nothing. I even took a peek next door. Nothing.

BURKE
Thank you.

He goes inside to see if RANDY is okay. RANDY is sitting on the floor with a paramedic tending to his arm and trying to keep him from fainting again.
Randy?

RANDY
Looks up to see SHERIFF BURKE.
Hi, Sheriff Burke.

BURKE
Are you up to answering some questions?

RANDY
Sure. You might want to stand back, though. I could bleed on you.

PARAMEDIC
No, it’s under control now. Just take it easy for a couple of days.
The PARAMEDIC leaves.

BURKE
So, what happened, Randy?

RANDY
I got a phone call as soon as I got home, and then he broke into my house and tried to kill me.

BURKEDid you see what he looked like?

RANDY
Yeah, he was wearing black and had a white mask.

BURKE
A white mask?

RANDY nods.

And a phone call?

He nods again.

Outside, LUCY has showed up and is now wandering through the crowds of police and reporters. She runs inside, past the O’MALLEYS. RANDY is sitting in the hallway. LUCY overhears SHERIFF BURKE talking to him.

BURKE
Randy, I thought Billy and Stu were dead.

RANDY
They are. I have no idea who this could be.

BURKE
Did anything seem similar to the last time?

RANDY
No, it was nothing like the last time. The last time, they were after Sidney. I don’t think there’s a reason for anyone to want to kill me now.

LUCY is standing nearby, listening to the conversation and reacting to what she’s hearing. She had found out about the Woodsboro murders, but hadn’t told RANDY. She was waiting for him to tell her, but now it was too late. She would have to confront him.

BURKE
But you were one of the only survivors. Maybe it’s someone who wants to finish the job. Where was Sidney the last time you saw her?

RANDY
She drove me home from the ice cream store in town. She dropped me off right before I got the phone call.

BURKE
Randy, this is the second time this has happened. But if it is happening again, then it hasn’t even started. We’re going to look for Sidney, Dewey, and Gale Weathers and we’re going to work something out for you guys. We don’t want to see another Woodsboro bloodbath. I want you to be extra careful from now on. Don’t go anywhere alone.

LUCY
Walking around corner. She is visibly angry with RANDY.
Don’t worry. He won’t.

BURKE leaves and smiles at LUCY. She gives him a small, fake smile. LUCY stands by RANDY.

RANDY
Lucy, what are you doing here? How did you find out?

LUCY
I heard the announcement on my dad’s old police radio and rushed over. Are you okay?

RANDY
Well, I guess it could have been worse.
He shows her his arm, bandages covering the whole area from his wrist to his elbow.
Luckily nothing happened when I jumped out my window.

LUCY
Well, that’s pretty stupid…
Why did you jump out the window?

RANDY
Because I made the stupid mistake of running up the stairs while a killer is in the house.

LUCY
Getting to her point.
So, when were you going to tell me?

RANDY
Wondering what she could have overheard.
Huh?

LUCY
Now very angry.
Don’t give me “Huh”! I heard Sheriff Burke talking about the whole thing.

RANDY
Uh, oh. She found out.
Lucy, I…

LUCY
Still angry.
Why have you been hiding that from me, Randy? Why? Why couldn’t you even tell me, your girlfriend? Why did I have to find out about it myself?

RANDY
You found out?

LUCY
Of course! Now why didn’t you say something?

RANDY
Why didn’t you?

LUCY
I asked first!

RANDY
LUCY is obviously pissed. He should just answer the question. With hesitation.
I didn’t want to tell you, because…

LUCY
Just say it!

RANDY
Lucy, I didn’t want to tell you about this because I know you hate scary movies. I didn’t want you to feel like you were in one.

LUCY
Confused.

What are you talking about? What does your being attacked have to do with scary movies?

RANDY
You don’t know this, but the murder spree I was involved in was laid out like a John Carpenter – Wes Craven movie. Out of five of my friends, two survived, me and Sidney. The killers were two other friends and the killer’s girlfriend was another victim. There were two other students, a cameraman, and the high school principal, all dead.

LUCY
Dumbfounded.
I can’t believe what I’m hearing…

RANDY
I lived through a fucking scary movie where people were gutted, stabbed and shot.

LUCY
Randy, don’t lie to me. This is bullshit.

RANDY
Nope, the killer even came back to life, for one last scare.

LUCY
Still angry, but now feeling betrayed.
Why didn’t you tell me?

RANDY
I thought you’d leave.

LUCY
Why would I leave?

RANDY
I don’t know, I thought it would freak you out. I thought you might think I was a psycho or something.

LUCY
Randy, if I ever thought of you as a psycho, it wouldn’t have been because of that.

They look at each other for a moment. LUCY turns around.

RANDY
Lu, please…

LUCY
Randy, if you couldn’t tell me something like that, I can’t even imagine what you must still be keeping from me.RANDYBut I’m not keeping anything…

LUCY
Please. I have to go.
She turns to leave the house, feeling a little untrusting of RANDY.

RANDY
Trying to get up.Lucy, come back!

LUCY
Bye, Randy.

RANDY is now standing up. He watches LUCY leave the house as SIDNEY walks in. SIDNEY sees LUCY rushing out then sees RANDY.

SIDNEY
I guess she finally found out.

RANDY
A little pissed. He walks toward the door past SIDNEY.
Yup. Thanks for the advice, Sid, but she already knew.

SIDNEY
Well, it’s not exactly a secret.

RANDY leaves, running after LUCY, who has disappeared. He starts to worry; the KILLER could still be out there.
SIDNEY walks over to RANDY.

I’m sorry, Randy.

RANDY
Yeah, so am I.

SIDNEY sees RANDY‘S bandaged arm and holds it. She looks at him, scared. Was it starting again?

SIDNEY
Randy, tell me what happened to you.

RANDY
She said she’d already found out and she said she can’t trust me anymore if I can’t tell her…

SIDNEY
No, your arm.

RANDY
As soon as you dropped me off and drove away, I got a phone call. Then this guy broke into my house and sliced my arm open before I could jump out my window.

SIDNEY
A phone call?

RANDY
Yes, a phone call! Why is everyone so surprised about that? People do call my house. That’s why we have a phone…

SIDNEY
Randy, didn’t you know that Billy and Stu called whoever they were going to kill before they attacked?

RANDY
No. But Sid, Billy and Stu are dead.

SIDNEY
Yeah, but what if it’s a copycat? Did you see him?

RANDY
Yeah, he was wearing black and had a white mask.

SIDNEY
A white mask?
Shudders at the painful memory of the costume.

RANDY
Yeah! Oh, Sid, it was the weirdest thing. He looked like Michael Myers from Halloween.

SIDNEY
Wait, that’s a different white mask.

RANDY
Yeah.

SIDNEY
So, then it’s not just a copycat. It’s some psycho wannabe, too.

RANDY
Thinks for a moment.
That’s even scarier. Then there’s no way to tell who it could be.

SIDNEY
You’re right. Did you tell Sheriff Burke?

RANDY
Yeah. I did.

SIDNEY
He didn’t give you any kind of hint at all?

RANDY
No, none. He knew my name, but he was looking through the window at my diploma.

SIDNEY
Sighing, clueless.
So, are you okay?

RANDY
He starts walking to his house.
Yeah, I’m okay. It hurts a little, but I should be fine.

SIDNEY
She follows RANDY.
It’s a miracle you didn’t go “splat” on your back porch.

RANDY
Oh, we got rid of most of the back porch. After my sister cut her knees open on a jagged edge, we decided that it might be a safety hazard. So we planted some nice, fluffy grass there. Definitely worked out for me in the end.

SIDNEY
How is your sister?

RANDY
Fine. She’s getting married in the spring.

SIDNEY
That’s nice.
She notices RANDY becoming pale and walking slower than before.
Randy, are you okay?

RANDY
Holding his head.
I think I got up too fast.

SIDNEY
Are you gonna faint again?

RANDY
It could happen.
He stops moving and starts to slump over. SIDNEY catches him and eases him to the ground. He hasn’t fainted.
Sid?

SIDNEY
Yeah?

RANDY
I hate my life.

RANDY and SIDNEY look at each other, not knowing how to handle the situation they’re in. There’s another KILLER, they don’t know how to handle it, and they don’t know what’s safe anymore. And RANDY might have lost the love of his life. SIDNEY just wishes she knew how to help.

SIDNEY
Come on, Randy. Let’s go inside.

RANDY
Yeah, right. So I can be attacked again?

SIDNEY
Sheriff Burke said he was gone. You should get some sleep.

RANDY
Reluctant.
Fine.

SIDNEY reaches out her hand to help RANDY up. He takes it and staggers into his house with SIDNEY. She sees the broken glass, then the stairs.

SIDNEY
You ready for some stairs?

RANDY
I guess.
He grasps the railing and starts up the stairs. SIDNEY follows him, supporting his back in case he fell.

They go around the corner and into RANDY‘S room, where LUCY has been waiting. She sees RANDY and he sees her. LUCY walks over to him and they hug each other apologetically. LUCY helps RANDY onto his bed.

Cut to three hours later. It’s dusk, about eight ’o’ clock. RANDY‘S mother is out of town, leaving the house under his responsibility. He is sleeping, LUCY by his side, SIDNEY is in an armchair next to the bed, on RANDY‘S other side, still awake, standing guard.
SIDNEY hears a noise, like someone trying to open a door. She quickly snaps to attention. SIDNEY, the brave chick she is, gets up, leaving RANDY and LUCY. SIDNEY looks around for a moment, then hears the noise again. The door downstairs is locked. Unless the visitor is really strong, they couldn’t break though. But there was the window…
SIDNEY leaves the room and looks over the banister. The noises on the door have stopped. SIDNEY goes back in the room and closes the door, then locks it. Just as she reaches for the phone to dial the police, it rings. She shrieks, caught off-guard, waking RANDY and LUCY.

RANDY
What the hell’s goin’ on?

SIDNEY
Into phone.
Hello?

RANDY
Sid, what is it?…
Remembering the phone.
Oh. Oh, God.

LUCY
What?

RANDY
Lu, be quiet.

SIDNEY
No! Don’t do this anymore!

There is a pound at the bedroom door. ALL scream.

Please, tell me what you want, tell me who you are.

VOICE
You don’t want to know.

SIDNEY
Losing it a little.
Tell me, you fucking shithead! You’re a coward if you don’t fucking tell me!

RANDY
Sid, stop! You’re gonna piss him off! I don’t have to lose another pint of blood, okay?

SIDNEY
Shut up, Randy!

VOICE
You should listen to him, Sidney.

SIDNEY
Into phone.
Listen, I’m sick of being stalked by assholes like you.

VOICE
How do you know I’m after you?

SIDNEY
A little surprised at the comment, but not bothering to ask for information.
I will fight you to the death, if that’s what it takes to get rid of you, but so help me…

She is interrupted by another pound at the door. SIDNEY walks over to the door and grabs a hanger that was on the doorknob. She prepares to strike. RANDY gets up to stop SIDNEY from opening the door. She shoves him away and reaches for the doorknob.
Prepare to die, motherfucker!

SIDNEY hangs up the phone, throws it to the ground, and yanks the door open, raising the hanger.
