Latuconsina also said the authorities would disburse Rp 6 billion to support the security operation in the islands. Also attending the event were Pattimura Military Commander Brig. Gen. I Made Yasa, Maluku Police deputy chief Sr. Comr. Tommy Yacobus and Ambon security sector chief Col. N.G. Sugiartha. Firman will be promoted to a two-star Inspector General and take over as South Sulawesi Police chief, replacing Insp. Gen. Sofjan Jacob. Sofjan has been appointed Jakarta Police chief.
