Sandman pages

If you've never read any of the Sandman series of Graphic novels by Neil Gaiman, well...gee...rush right out and get em! These 'comics' changed my life and they are some of the best things I have ever read. These are masterpieces of modern Lit. folks, really. The reason they didn't get much hype is because they were in comic form.

How amazingly sad that the establishment ignored the brilliant voice of Neil Gaiman because of something so incredibly stupid. *sigh* Best not to dwell on the past. The Sandman is gone. It was nice that the publisher, Vertigo, decided not to continue the series without Neil's voice. No one else could have done justice to his vision and these tales would not live so vividly in the imagination today had some lesser writer weakened them.

Probably my favorite is 'Season of Mists'. I know Death is popular on the web (I think it's got something to do with the way she looks and the amount of young boys on the net, but thats just me :>) but for me, Dream, the Lord Shaper is the most interesting character. I even put Death and Destiny mobs in certain places in the MUD. Aren't I sneaky? Sadly, the Sandman is no more. But the websites live on. If you think comics are just for kids you haven't seen the Sandman yet. Here are some links:
