Com'n Snake-Eyes !!! -- eerrrm, well it *is* an original intro to discussing Dice Divination though ...

This is a certain and innocent way of finding out common occurrences that are about to take place (it is said that the answers tot he dice are fulfilled within 9 days).

Preparation :

A 12-inch diameter circle is drawn in white chalk onto a board or table that the throws of the dice will made upon. Any dice that happen to fall or roll outside of the chalk circle are not considered when adding up the totals, but they have their own set of meanings though. A die landing outside of the chalk circle is a potent of sharp words that will be said, if the die lands on the floor it is said it is a forewarning of violent quarrels..

Three dice are used and shaken well in a box with the left hand. The dice are interpreted by the total of the numbers shown. Mondays, Wednesdays, or days when the atmosphere is extremely charged with electrical forces (i.e. stormy weather), are not considered to be favorable occasions for consultation as the omens would be erratic and inaccurate. The best conditions of all is consulting is said to be in the calm of the evening, about 2 hours after sundown. Strict silence is felt to be essential during the shaking and throwing.

If the same number, regardless of denomination, should turn up more than once is thought to signify an
advent of important news. To the throw the dice so that one lands on the top of another is said to be a
warning for women foretelling deceit of an admirer (for men it also presages use of caution).

If you want to make the predictions more specific in time frames or areas of life, then you divide the chalk circle into twelve parts. Number them starting with number 1 at the 11 o'clock position and work counter-clockwise in the numbering. The twelve sections refer to the following :

First Section : next year's events (*some claim this refers to personality, mental, and physical
health aspects)
Second Section : money matters (*not property)
Third Section : travel (*blood relations, not parents though)
Fourth Section : domestic (*parents, the home, property)
Fifth Section : present schemes (*love and pleasure)
Sixth Section : health (*dependents - from pets to employees)
Seventh Section : marriage (*legal matters and conflicts, marriage)
Eighth Section : death/legacies (*inheritances and associated matters)
Ninth Section : present state of mind (*long journeys, spiritual matters)
Tenth Section : work/profession (*career and working life)
Eleventh Section : friends (*friends and social life)
Twelfth Section : enemies (*restrictions and obstacles)
* taken from "The Encyclopedia of Fortune-Telling" which also includes a different set of interpretations for the dice's throws.

Now what you do after the throw of the dice is this, you take in consideration of what sectors they fall in (and yes, it is likely they will fall in more than one area) which are read in conjunction with the numerical value which are read as follows :

One Search whatever this dice say in concern to this matter for indication of success TwoSuccess depends upon the continuance of friendly relations
ThreeSuccess is bound to follow FourThis will go badly in regards to what section this die falls into
FiveIndications are good SixProblem under current discussion will in it the end have a good effect on the matter covered by this area.
