We're Revising for our Finals

(to the tune of the 'Battle Hymn of the Republic')

We came to Salford Uni in October '83,
We thought it would be easy, but alas 'twas not to be,
So we'd better start revising if we want a good degree,
But we've done no work so far.

chorus:
     We're Revising for our Finals,
     We're Revising for our Finals,
     We're Revising for our Finals,
But we've done no work so far.

I went to se my tutor in October '84,
He looked me up and down as I walked in through the door,
He said,"Now I recall, I've only seen you once before,
"And you've done no work so far."

chorus:

Saw my project supervisor in December '85,
He said, "It's nice to see you, am glad you're still alive,
"Youve been avoiding me since the day that you've arrived,
"And you've done no work so far."

chorus:

And so for three long years we have dossed with heart and sole,
Soon we'll have graduated from this hole,
Though we'll be highly qualified we'll still be on the dole,
'Cos there ain't no work so far.

new chorus:
     We're Revising for our Finals,
     We're Revising for our Finals,
     We're Revising for our Finals,
'Cos there ain't no work so far.
