• Web server at their Institute of Indology
  Dr. Thomas Malten and colleagues at the Institute of Indology and Tamil Studies (IITS) of the Univ. of Cologne, Germany have already made phenomenal progress in electronic archiving of tamil literary works. IITS, Cologne has the most extensive collection of electronic texts in tamil in transliterated format ever made. A few of these works are available in entire form for download. But the gopher server at IITS does provide word search for a large number of early tamil literature (Sangam and post-Sangam period).
  
• Nalayira Divya Prabhandam at etext.org.gopher
  Dr. Parthasarathy Dileepan of Tennesse, USA enlisted the assistance of volunteers through the newsgroup soc. culture.tamil and has produced the transliterated etext version of the entire NALAYIRA DIVYA PRABHANDAM. The prabhandam files are now available for download at the etext.org gopher server.
  
• Web page devoted to Vaishnavism
  Mani Varadarajan has a Web page devoted to Vaishnavism. Etexts (transliterated/roman) of a number of vaishnavaite literary works are available there.
  
• English translation of thirukuRaL The Tamil Web page of Janahan provides a pointer to English translation of thirukuRaL produced by the Himalayan Academy.
• ThirukuRaL, a tamil version produced using LIBTAMIL package
  Siddharth Ramachandramurthi has a Web page on where the entire thirukuRaL work is displayed in the form of .gif images. The text were initially keyed in using the LIBTAMIL package. The Web page allows word check on the entire thirukuRaL.

  Ganesh Subramanian has put up a Web page devoted to Saiva Siddhantha wherein he is trying to provide transliterated (ITRANS) version of various thirumarais on line. Part of thirumandiram is now available.
• Abirami Andadhi
  The story related to and the transliterated version of Abirami Andadhi (keyed in by Mrs. Vijalakshmi Mallikarjunan) is available at the Web page put out by Mallikarjunans.

Electronic Text Archives in Tamil prepared using Tamil Fonts

• Tamil Etexts in Mylai Tamil Fontformat
  As a hobby, in a humble way, I have been working on production of Electronic texts in Tamil using the tamil font Mylai. A number of tamil etext files (thirukuRaL, thiruvAchagam, thiruppAvai, thiruvembAvai, pattinathAr songs, bharathiAr songs,...) are now available to the general public through the anon.ftp server of our institution (ftp.epfl.ch) in both mylai and transliterated formats. • Tamil Web Server at Singapure
  The TamilWeb server of the National University of Singapore is developing bilingual Web pages (Tamil and English). Select tamil works of Sangam Period and ThirukuRaL based on the tamil font of Naa. Govindasamy are available at this site.

• ROJA MUTHIAH RESEARCH LIBRARY / MOZHI Trust
  Roja Muthiah Research Library (RMRL), founded in 1994, provides research materials and facilities for students of Tamil studies in a variety of fields spanning the humanities, social sciences, and sciences. The Library's main objectives are to preserve, catalog, and expand the collection of Roja Muthiah, who during his lifetime amassed one of the world's finest private libraries of Tamil publications.
  MOZHI Trust is a public charitable Trust engaged, since 1990, in developing resources in language and culture. MOZHI which is based in Madras, has been entrusted with the task of preserving and maintaining the collections of Roja Muthiah Research Library, including providing the library's housing in Madras.
