It makes a certain amount of sense to begin our journey through the scope of human culture by looking at our very roots. There are a great many resources out there devoted to the study of our early societies. I have included general archaeological links as well as links regarding prehistory. As you go through the various eras, there may be a bias towards western culture, mainly because that is my area of training and I am therefore more familiar with it. I promise that as I can, I will add material about other cultures, such as those in the Far East and the Americas.
