SHADOWS OF ANTICIPATION
by Tina Larson

It is the perfect night to visit. The clouds rumbling across the sky will make me another indistinguishable shadow among the bushes by her window. I wonder what she’ll be wearing for me tonight. Soon she’ll know how special she is to me and what it means to be chosen.

Slinking over the fence I slowly approach the house sticking close to the trees and shadows . As I nestle close to the bushes I see that she’s left the blinds open again for me and I thank her. If only she knew.

Look at her! The shadows from the clouds trailing across her bare subtle skin is almost to much to bear. She’s a restless sleeper the sheets are all askew. Her night gown has slid up to her thighs. She’s on her back and her arms are beckoning me to join her. But it’s to early I can’t go to her yet. The timing has to be perfect, everything has to be ready. She might be the one.

She’s stirring in her sleep, it’s like she senses my presence, as she turns over I catch a glimpse of her inner thigh. Her skin glows with an incandesce from within, the fine hairs spark with electricity, and then it’s gone. It was only there for an instant, but I will remember it forever!

I need to find out more about her. I’ll have to follow her for awhile longer to see if she shows the signs of being marked. It can be so hard to tell and I don’t want to make any mistakes. I need the chosen one and I’m running out of time! The sun will be creeping over the horizon soon, I must get going. Everything is almost ready, I won’t be gone for long!
