Pembroke Preceptory and Priory meets, at 7:30, on the 3rd Friday, of April, June, August and October at Dallas Brooks Hall, 300 Albert Street, East Melbourne.

In Victoria, the Masonic Knights Templar includes two Orders:
Knight Templar
Knight of Malta

Visiting members of the Order are of course welcome. There is a supper charge of $10 for visitors.

The Knights Templar ritual provides symbolism to enhance a Freemason's self-awareness. The Order offers the opportunity to understand one's self. This order is thought to have been started in the 18th century i.

In Victoria, the prerequisites for The Knights Templar is the HRA Chapter. Naturally, it is necessary to also be a Freemason.

Where the dress in some Constitutions, for example Virginia in the USA is a 17th Century outfit, the Victorian Constitution follows the English, Irish and Scottish Constitutions, which wear an outfit similar to that shown on this link (KT) and this link (Malta) styled on the Crusades.

Intereting book: Templar Gold: Discovering the Ark of the Covenant By Patrick Byrne (who is a freemason in England) 1-57733-099-4, $ 19.95, paper, 448 pages The location of the Ark of the Covenant is a mystery that is thousands of years old. This book recounts the investigation of a secret in the south of France. As the investigation developed, it became apparent that this puzzle involved Freemasonry … and was uncovering a grand conspiracy. The Questions . . . Are the Knights Templar and Freemasons related? Do they still exist today? If they were the guardians of the Ark of the Covenant, Where is it now? Is there anything else, apart from guarding the Ark, That these people are trying to achieve? “Not since Hancock’s Sign & the Seal has so plausible and logical a theory been put forth involving the Templars and the Ark of the Covenant. In fact the publication of this book may well see many Hancock supporters changing their thinking, including Mr. Hancock himself.” - Stephen Dafoe, Grand Historian for the Sovereign Great Priory of Canada Knights Templar
