- Guess how the kid rang in the New Year! By listening to "One of These Days", from the Pink Floyd album Meddle. One of the most amazing bands ever, and this page is about its magnificent leader.

- Last week the Westminster Kennel Show was held in NYC. So many doggies! This is the place to go to find a breed for you!

- All sorts of interesting writings in here! Peruse the detritus of the academic mind....
- March 15, 1998: The Sub-Orbital
- One of the most intriguing mystery shows to come around in a long time is Inspector Morse. This is the place for all necessary information on the show, author, and actors.
- March 22, 1998: ARMAMENTARIVM
- An excellent page dealing with Roman arms and armor, from the University of Newcastle upon Tyne. The links to the other parts of the Museum are neat too!
- March 29, 1998: Perseus Project Home Page
- A large and slow, but interesting and information-packed site dealing with the cultures of Ancient Greece and Rome. (Apparently, some parts of this site will be inaccessible at some point in the future. Alas!)
- April 5, 1998: Motörhead
- One of the best and most influential (not to mention long-lasting!) heavy metal bands around. This is the real item!
- April 12, 1998: REG--The International Roger Waters Fan Club
- A fairly young page, dealing with this well-known gent from our first Link of the Week for this year! Full of good interviews, reviews, pix, and more.
- April 19, 1998: Mysticism in World Religions
- A neat page, full of links to and about mystic texts in several of the world's major religions. Compare and contrast!

- Documents, discussions, and articles about Islam. Quite a treasure-trove of information on this religion!

- I'm reading Dr. Weil's 8 Weeks to Optimum Health currently. This site has links and information from the Doctor, plus links to other health-improvement sites.

- I saw Yes on VH-1 last week. Mr. Squire is their bassist, a very accomplished and influential musician in the contemporary music scene. This site is loaded with information about him!

- The first peer-reviewed limited area search engine on the Web! It covers ancient and mediaeval topics.

- This is too cool! This program generates a totally ficticious essay using the gobbledegook of postmodern vocabulary--complete with bibliography! It creates a new essay with each reload!

- Time for school again! This site is a digital resource for primary source material from 18th century America. Writings, maps, bookmarks, and a nice picture gallery.

- This is a cool show done by these two rather bizarre (but interesting!) British ladies, whose mode of transport is a motorcycle and sidecar!
- October 11, 1998: Wildlife Conservation Society
- I watched VH-1's biography of John Denver last night. One of his last concert appearances was a fund-raiser for this organization. Based in New York City, they're dedicated to education and outreach efforts to improve our environment.
