    -Springrose of Loamhedge Abbey-

When Good Turned Evil and Evil Turned Good...

Could a creature so vile be understood,
And confusion lay evil to beasts in the wood,
An assasin not kill even one little beast,
And vile so evil not harm in the least?

As good beasts' intentions surely do twist,
And become so confused as a thickly mist,
Whose ill intentions do harm another,
Sister against sister, brother against brother.

The abbey of Redwall would surely be waste,
And good creatures slaughtered in other beasts' haste,
Never again would dibbuns do shout,
No dibbun would laugh, nor dance, nor pout.

A twisted tale would weave through this land,
From the great sky above to the beaches of sand,
Nobeast could be trusted at all in the least,
No food would be prepared for a great Redwall feast.

If good turned evil and evil turned good,
Could we trust one another and be understood,
The greatest abbey of all would crumble to dust.
For all the good creatures would betray other's trust.

    A Dibbun Poem

    Redwall is an abbey,
    and I am a mouse,
    I live in this abbey,
    that I call my house,
    I live with the otters,
    the squirrels and birds,
    We all feast together,
    though it may seem absurd.

    I am a dibbun,
    that's a young one,
    sometimes I'm naughty,
    but I always have fun!

    Don't try to catch me,
    I know a good place,
    I'll hide in a crack,
    The tiniest of space,
    I won't take a bath,
    or scrub both me ears,
    I'd rather do battle,
    and face all me fears.

    Come visit sometime,
    you know where I'll be,
    Just come to the abbey,
    watch and you'll see,
    I won't take a bath,
    nor scrub not one ear,
    oops, here comes the abbess,
I'd best get out of here!

    A Redwall Feast

If you are a bally hare,
    Or mayhap a hungry mole,
Just gather round the Redwall feast,
And grab a plate and bowl.

All the food you could ever want,
    And dozens of lots more,
Can be found in front of you,
    What are ya’ waitin’ for?

Take a nibble of this cheese,
    It simply is the best!
Try a sip of this fine wine,
And please do try the rest!

So be a hare and scoff it down,
    Or stuff your snout inside,
When I say Redwall’s the best,
    You know I haven’t lied!

We welcome beasts both near and far,
From mole to hare and mouse,
And if you ever wish to stay,
    You’re welcome at our house!

    Nameday

Summer is here, winter is gone
And the Nameday's all day long
    Blueberry tart, strawberry fizz
    "Hurr, Zurr, Looket thiz!"
    Great Hall cake, woodland stew
All this food I'll show to you
At the feast in old Great Hall
The tables are bursting from wall to wall!

    The Unwritten Legacy

A journey done, yet just begun
From the gray mists of yesterday.
A mousemaid's legacy has yet to be wrought
    By dangers, adventures, and fate.

So as the days and seasons spin,
    Upon this lifetime's stream.
    Follow closely, this warrior's tale
    Of friendships made and lost.

    Warriors remembered

    Mariel was kind and true,
    Martin was brave and strong,
Sunflash thought of his friends before himself
And Samkim could do no wrong,
    We remember the heroes,
For they brought freedom and peace,
But do we remember the ones at there sides,
For there bravery would never cease.

    Dandin fought with Mariel,
    And Gonff helped Martin free.
    Skarlath protected Sunflash,
And Samkim had Arula who was friends with everybody.
So remember those warriors dead and gone,
    And remember their companions too.
    For you never know,
    What they have been through.
