RAVEN'S MOON COVEN

Is devoted to the service of the Lady and Lord in an earth centered
spirituality. We seek to revive the essence of the Craft as was of old,
and conduct our work accordingly. We have become concerned
about the emergence of "Socially acceptable, politically correct,
Pink Fluffy-Bunny, New Age" Wicca that we see growing in
popularity. We are CRAFT,...not Salem 90210!

This has led some of us to adopt the attitude that "we are not entirely
certain we are "Wiccans", but we know beyond any shadow of doubt
that we are WITCHES. Some of us are disturbed with how much
is filtering into the Craft from other paths, such as the New Age
Community or the Christian path, and diluting the power and simple
beauty of Witchcraft. We frequently issue the following challenge:

"Be Ye Witch, or be Ye naught?"

We are located on the Front Range of the Colorado Rockies,
and are blessed to be part of the Denver Metro Pagan Community.
This is a Magickal place filled with many Magickal folk.

WITCHCRAFT TODAY:

Witches today come from all walks of life. We gather for Sabbats and
Esbats to celebrate the cycles of the sun and moon. We devote our time
and energies to healing, teaching, worship and ministry. We are a legally
recognized religion in most parts of the world, though a number
of attacks have been mounted by members of legislature upon our
rights to religious freedom. Despite the advancements in
communication, there still exists much misunderstanding about
WitchCraft and in many places, persecution is still active.

It is not a path for everyone, which is one reason you wont see
Witches knocking on your door or handing out tracts. Those who are
led to this path must seek us out. We are not difficult to find, to those
who look, but we do not make active recruitment efforts either.
The greater question, that none can answer save themselves is...

Many books are freely available about WitchCraft today, and if you
are drawn to the Craft, a visit to your local bookstore is a good place
to start. In addition, follow some of our links for further information.

anyone who desires fellowship with other Pagans and Witches
to join our extended family at AradiaHome.. We discuss all manner
of topics related to Witchcraft and Paganism. Magick, Spellcrafting,
Divination, Psychic Gifts, and even such seeming mundane topics
as how government and political decisions affect us as Pagans and Witches.

This is the original Aradia list created long ago, in order to provide
a safe environment where people can speak their minds on those
issues they feel are important, and where respect for all members
is upheld and no flaming is permitted. We believe that all Pagans
are children of the Lady and Lord, and deserving of dignity.
