Do you have a site you think would benefit The Written Word Webring? I review all sites to be sure the content fits and that there is a selection of quality works on your site to keep the interest of the webring travelers.

So you think you make the grade, eh?!?! Go ahead and fill out the form below! You must meet the following guidelines to be added to the ring:

You must have a site dedicated to the art of fictional writing: short stories, poetry, novels, etc.
You must have two or more selections to read on your site (this may include two or more chapters of an interactive story, two or more chapters of a novella, etc.)
The writing must be of quality. I am not looking for grammatical or spelling perfection, but for work that draws readers into it.
The writing must be original, whether you are a repository for original writings, or they are your own (i.e. no pages about famous published authors will be accepted into the ring).
Please, no pornographical writings. I don't consider pornography to be quality OR mature.

If I do not select your site to be added, you may resubmit in 30 days if you have made improvements or changes that will adequately qualify your site for the ring. I keep an open mind (and truth be known, my memory is not all that great since I passed 30!), so don't worry about being rejected again just because you were rejected before.

You must add the HTML fragment to your page shortly after submitting your site to the queue. If it has not been added within a week, you will be deleted from the queue. The HTML fragment will be e-mailed to you after you submit your site to the queue.

If I find the code is missing from your page, I will notify you and allow a week for the code to be reinstated before removing you from the ring.

DO NOT LINK TO THE GRAPHIC ON THIS SITE!! That is bandwidth robbery. Download it, and upload to your server. I WILL check on this, and you will be removed from the ring if I find you're linked to my site for the graphic. To clarify matters: The graphic you need is the one at the top of this page!!
