My name is Michael Hilp and I was born in Chippewa Falls,
Wisconsin, USA in August of 1962. I have, however, lived
most of my life in Oregon, USA. I am a naval veteran. I
married a wonderful lady, and have two really
lovable boys now.
I worked as a volunteer fire fighter for three years.
I loved my work so much, there were times I was working
too many hours and neglecting my family. I slowed down
and created a comfortable balance between the two. I have
since then retired. I teach Medic First Aid and CPR to the
public whenever I get the chance. But the doctor says no
more running into burning buildings and no more heavy labor
work for me. You might say I'm physically retired.
I
home schooled our thirteen year old son.
He and I get along great. Some days we worked real hard.
Other days we did some lite studying.
He loves being home and being able to have me there to help
him when he gets stuck. It's quite challenging, but we
did great. He will be starting a new chapter in his life.
He has been accepted into a private school. We are very proud.
I respect computers and all that goes into them. There are
a lot of long hours put into learning how to operate one. We
started with an 8088, sort of a brain dead computer by todays
standards. But it did the job. I learned about computers on
that slow "BLIP". At first I was afraid to touch the keyboard
just in case I pushed a wrong button and something would go wrong.
Naive, you say. Very! I learned to enjoy playing games and doing
a little writing, excuse me, word prossessing. Now, people ask me
how to do things on their computers. My how things have changed.

WE MONITOR ALL E-MAIL SENT TO JOEY!
Chris is an adult now,(I know we need a new pic)
He monitors his on mail.
Shari was my first cat I had when
I was on my own. She was a Calico
Himalayan. She had a habit of going to
the bathroom in the toilet. Then she
would lie down on top of the tank and
play with the handle until she was able
to flush the toilet. She scared me wide
awake more than once.
