*Chocolate is..........anything you want it to be. (If you have to ask then you don't understand chocolate). *Lab puppies don't comprehend that they *!GROW!*, so what was adorable at 9 weeks now squashes the owner flat at 9 months. *Boy children inherently prefer ooey-gooey bugs over anything relatively non-gross. *Answering a spouses question of "I feel chubby...do I look chubby?" with "I'm not stupid enough to answer that question" does of course prove your stupidity. *Many people are under the mistaken impression that Florida is an ideal climate......these people have yet to survive a Florida summer. *The key to being a good listener is knowing when to comment. A silent listener denotes boredom or the inability to empathize. "Uh-huh" or "Mmmmm" does not cut it as a response if repeated more than once. *The sandpaper people in my life are the abrasive irritants I need to keep me humbly aware that I too am as sandpaper to others, as much as I would prefer to be soft velvet. *The more ideas I have, the less time I have to implement them. *Sachet basically means "Jello" in the Land Down Under & England...*sigh*. *Deleting stuff on my computer can be hazardous to its health. Especially if it's a monitor driver. *"I love you" is threatening to some people and learning not to say it is hard. *Swallowing your pride and letting someone think you are less than you know yourself to be, so as not to make them feel foolish when you know you can prove you are right....is harder still. *Keeping my heart transparent before myself and God is a day to day lifelong challenge, and one with which I struggle. * Finding & using "politically correct" words is a pain in the arse. *Love bugs are compelled to dive into wet paint. *Stealth typing is a necessary skill to learn if one hopes to type on the 'puter and talk on the phone at the same time. Because for some reason people who call think they take priority......go figure. *Friends can stay friends until you crash their computer trying to help....;). *Forgiveness is a decision not an emotion. *"Cyber" friendships are as "real" as you allow them to be. *More RAM *is* better......:). *Men like knowing that - Women generally like to talk about sex with their friends. *Men wonder what women talk about when discussing sex with their friends. Men worry......With good reason. *Typo-ese should be a required second language. *Walking in the rain is a sensual experience almost impossible to convey. *Sharing your soul and knowing it is seen with eyes of understanding compels you to share more.... *Seven year old boys and nine month old puppies find more trouble together than a Mom can ever anticipate. *A Mom has no choice but to laugh over much of it, because of the innocent joy sparkling in their mischievous eyes. *Friends who ask you to share your observations are to be cherished for their intuitive wisdom. |
