Family: Two sisters, two brothers, and
mother. One sister lives here - the rest in Chicago.
Occupation: Administrative Assistant to the Vice President of Distribution for Insight. First Job: Continental Bank in Chicago. I hated it. Favorite or worst job: Working at Citibank for 7 1/2 years, part in Chicago, part here. Wisest lesson learned: Your job is NOT the most important thing in your life. Hardest choice made: Getting divorced. Hobby: Horses, although I don't own one anymore. Easiest way for me to relax: Fill a bath, get a glass of wine and a good book and relax in the tub. Working on? Getting back to the gym more often Movies I've been recommending lately: I hardly ever go to the movies. I usually watch them on video. Current reading: I am always reading about three books at once. Most impressive book I've read: "Feel the Fear and Do It Anyway" by Susan Jeffers, Ph.d. Every New Years I resolve: I never make New Year's resolutions. Most interesting personality: Charles Barkley. Favorite childhood memory: Christmas time - when everyone was there. One thing I can't stand: People who are rude to waiters or waitresses. People who knew me in grade school, thought I was: Shy and quiet. My friends like me because: I don't judge them. If I won the Lottery I would: Travel to the South Pacific - spend two months - then go back to school full time. Worst Memory: My dad's death. I was living here at the time and he was in Chicago. I had to fly back for the funeral. It was a very difficult time. My idea of paradise is: A horse ranch. My neighbor is: I have great, new neighbors. I've met them all. A really great evening for me is: Having dinner at a great restaurant - then going out either dancing or listening to jazz. Moments of pride: Winning three ribbons in Toastmasters for my speeches. Buying my first house. Most tense moment: When I first came to Toastmasters and knew I was going to have to speak publicly. Favorite pet? Dogs. Aspirations/looking forward to: Getting into training at my current company
