This page is intended to be a very simple page, that will load quickly, and be readable by any browser. This site is intended to provide a forum for networking for New England Lesbians, preferably with a Sephardic bent, and to be friendly toward bi-sexual women, as well. To that end, lesbian or bi-sexual, (self-identified) women who are either Sephardic or interested in Sephardic Judaism, Jewish or considering converting to Judasim (again, self-identified is fine), are invited to send email to me for posting to this web site at catalan_athens@yahoo.com.
1. No obscene or sexually explicit language. 2. No more than 50 words, explaining yourself, and the Lady you wish to meet. 3. Remember to include an email address and or web site URL 4. No photos, please. 5. I am in no way responsible for any silliness encountered should you fail to take proper precautions in meeting or giving information to someone via this web site. So, please remember to create for yourself an anonymous email address before posting here, that will not allow a potential stalker to discover who you are if you do not wish. Standard disclaimers apply... 6. Proceedure: email your post to me, text only, and I will post it to this web site when I am able to (remember, this being an entirely volunteer service for the Sephardic Jewish Lesbian community in New England, it's cold, the car often doesn't want to get to the library, and I have classes to teach! :-)
Please be sure to mark clearly the title of your post, and check spelling.

Dancing Sfardic Lesbian Dreamer seeking pen-pal for Espanol
URL: http://www.oocities.org/catalan_athens
I am seeking a pen-pal (email pal, I suppose) to practice speaking Spanish
or Hebrew, or both. I currently live in southern New Hampshire, and it is
difficult to find the time and the people with whom to practice speaking
Spanish, which I am actively working on learning, as well as Hebrew, which
I need to practice to keep up my modern Israeli Hebrew from years ago. I am
also interested in learning Catalan, French, and Italian, but am currently
concentrating on speaking Spanish, and reading Heberew. Any Sfardic Ladino
speakers out there?
Please email catalan_athens@yahoo.com.
L'shalom (Paz), The Dancing Sfardic Dreamer.
From: info@rainbowyouth.org.nz hi. I am interested in talking with other women about being lesbian and Jewish. my fathers family are Jewish from Portugal and Palestine. my mother is Greek/European and as far as I know, not Jewish. I understand this to mean that I am therefore not Jewish either however, I feel a strong connection with Judaism. I have spent a good deal of my life trying to grasp a better understanding but mostly from a gentile perspective. I have recently started going to a progressive shul. I guess along with discovering who I am as a lesbian I am trying to understand my cultural and spiritual identity. sincerely curious
