The above quote is misleading. While Edward J. Gorman is a master of dark suspense, he does not limit his work to that genre alone. No matter what type of fiction you read, chances are you have come across some of his award winning work. You can find his fiction in any bookstore labled under Western, Horror, Mystery, and Suspense. He's even been known to write a science fiction story or two.
