The Norristown Eagle Guard Co-sponsors one of the Countries largest Regional competitions of the year, dedicated to the Performance Arts of Percussion, Indoor Colorguard, Twirling, and Dance Teams.

The Norristown Regional

Due to the popularity of the Competition, the Venue, and everyone's acceptance of the judging criteria, and the overall experience,The event has outgrown the facilities and time available at the Norristown High School Complex. There are usually about 100 groups scheduled to attend. Groups from Conn. to Virginia, and as Far West as Ohio show their stuff and prepare for the World Championships.

In order to fit everything within the Time and Facility restraints, Some Groups meet in contests at Coatesville Area High Schools Complex, and then return to the Norristown Site in the Evening for the Guard Finals.

Check in begins at 6:30 am at the High Schools both days. Competition on Saturday, begins at 8 A.M., with final awards scheduled to be begin at 11:00 P.M. Sunday, the schedule is a little easier, competition starts at 9 PM and will be completed by 5:00 P.M.

"Under the Sun Productions" is Co-Ordinating the schedules and handling the overall planning along with, Coatesville High Schools "Steel Spirit" Color Guard, and Norristown's "Eagle Guard" who are providing the Main Facility.
