LIBERAL STUFF

I am a self-proclaimed liberal. Or perhaps you prefer my brother's terms:"greenie" and "tree hugger". Regardless of the name, I honestly cannot understand why anyone would want to align themselves with the various oppositions to liberalism. I am speaking mostly of those "conservative" groups, whose true intentions can never be far from instilling fear.

Perhaps more important than my own emotions in this matter is LOGIC. Thinking in terms of the future and understanding the ramifications of our actions can bring this planet into an arena accepting of a global, unified vision for this world. This should, by now, be everyone's goal. If you are still hung up on the concept of our country being number one, you are being outmoded at an extremely fast rate.

If you are a conservative, I still welcome you--perhaps more than the liberals! Please, read on and LEARN.
The most important two messages I have here, which shall be further expounded on by the people highlighted here, are USE YOUR CONSCIENCE in relation to how you treat other people, and SPEAK OUT. Liberals are too damn quiet these days.

A conservative picture, which may be misleading. However....

James Carville......... I have always been an enormous fan, simply for the fact that the man speaks loudly about what he believes. I have to respect that. Also, he believes that liberals (or "Democrats", as he would say) have been put on the defensive. This hinders what we can say because our time becomes consumed with retaliations against attacks. This is unfortunate, because the Republicans continue to rape our country and smile as they do it. By this I mean simply that the Republicans are on a spree of shutting people up, closing minds, and taking social programs away from people all in the name of larger arsenals of weaponry.
