Q: What is The Last Witness?
A: The Last Witness is a series of Prophetic Christian Adventure novels based on the premise "What if Samson had remained true to God?" Right now, there are twelve books planned in the series.
Q: Who is Gerald Welch?
A: That's me! I'm the author of the series and have I got some stories to tell you!
Q: What in the world is "Ehrets"?
A: Ehrets is the name of the world that Shiloh Mataran, the Last Witness, comes from.
Q: Why did you feel the need to involve another world? Does this mean you believe in UFO's?
A: Because I didn't want to change the history on this world, and it gives me an entirely new literary palette to add depth to the series. And my beliefs about UFO's is actually covered in the series.
Q: Is this a comic book?
A: No. While I first started this story in a comic book format, the more the story grew, the more I knew that it was not a comic book. It may be adapted to a comic book format in the future, but right now it is a series of novels. I think this will make for a better comic book if one is made in the future. Too many times there is a novel based on a comic and it ends up flat, since the original content is not deep enough. I think that if the reverse is done it would be much more enjoyable.
Q: What's an "USCHI"?
A: USCHI is a very bad thing. Demonically amplified armour with destruction on his mind.
Q: There are some pretty bad things in here to be considered a Christian novel.
A: The Bible is full of pretty bad things. The big difference is how are those pretty bad things treated? If they are glorified, that is a problem. If they are presented in the light that they ARE pretty bad things, then that is good.
