Frator Musigetes

This work is the result of a working with the Lady of our own Fr. Musigetes. It pictures, in a way, the Great Work itself, as it is seen by our distinguished Brother.

Liber XVII

vel Eros

Oh holy lady of the stars!
Rejoice! Life is you,
and you are my companion,
in the everlasting journey,
I walk with hope.

Your name changes into my ears,
but my mouth is everso full of honey,
as I pronounce it with my everlasting love.

My being slowly opens itself,
in your embrace,
with purity;
leaving my fate in your hands,
calling to you for my life to be,
as your existence desires,
to dissolve upon it,
to Naught.

My smile is the song of the spheres;
your caress is the breeze of the Autumn wind,
your eyes are the fountains of our love;
And thus, we unite.
I surrender to thee,
again and again, till there is
No More.

The work I do is of Eros,
and what is better for a pure soul,
to write this work with a poem?
Wise men fallen under her mighty bow,
Kings perished, Warriors failed,
For no Spell, no Power, no Sword,
can replace the purity of a simple Kiss.

Sing, my eternal Speech,
for Behold! Said the Wise,
Time is a mere illusion!
Sing my beautiful song,
throughout the worlds,
for Behold! Said the Wise,
worlds is a mere illusion!
Sing, my honeyed tongue,
with all the purity of a soul,
of utter darkness;
for Behold! Said the Wise,
soul is the last illusion!
But isn’t one illusion,
the wisdom of the Wise?
Folly is the key to Bliss,
says Yassana;
For it is not a key.
For there is not a door.

Into your loveliness of existence,
The Universe rises in a new Aeon;
Through the immense of pleasures,
of flesh, and pain, the Demon of Power lies;
Shedding light of purest White, and Yellow;
Oh, my bright youth, so swiftly you leave,
having me into the arms of Babalon,
looking into the Cauldron of the Ancient Witch,
Medea.
Shuffled my labors go to the ways
the Sun of Chaos initiated;
My existence is met manyfold,
into the beautiful spring of youth;
An old man, am I, into young hands,
crying as a baby newborn;
My Mother, eases me.
I am the Snake;
and my Mistress dances with me,
into the void of the infinite universe;
I am the playful child,
who joins the pointer to his lips,
making the everlasting sign of Silence;
I am the blind Oracle,
who sees the lives of others,
in order to understand the existence
of his blindness.

Join me in this life of folly!
I trust my folly, my life!
I open my arms to accept the potent
blows of the eternal struggle,
and through my Death,
Death, dearest lady,
to be liberated!
My cries are the bells of the universe,
my woes is like the winter rain,
empty, hollow, essential.
Baphomet, the Daemon,
laughs at me into a gleeful,
free way;
"I am the one,
I am the two,
I am none.
Worship me,
and you will be worthy,
to cross the lake of unending sorrow.
Give me your light,
and I shall provide you,
the pleasure of living."

"Blasphemer!"
Cried the priest in an ugly voice.
Alas, his blindness,
was uglier than him.

Intrigued, bent the sage;
looking at the swirling scriptures,
counting the fleeing letters,
praying for understanding;
But with no avail.

Impressed, looked the mage,
of the swirling colours,
the illusions untold,
and the beautiful flowers of the mind,
as well as the dreadful fears of the soul,
and wished to walk no more;
for there, he found peace,
and cerenity.

The Daring forwards,
and speaks no more.
Ice in his eyes,
stone in his smile,
joy in his soul,
as the masked Bacchus,
he walks the paths of loneliness.

And Baphomet nods,
and lays down the cards of his tarot.
The Priest, the Sage, the Mage, the Hermit.
The four sides of the square,
the three sides of the pyramid and the base.

And the voice cried:
"Let it be light"
And the pyramid risen
into the skies of the Blood.
Hundredfold, and more,
have been the rites performed;
but the Alchemic mix,
should become in every aspect of life.

Celebrations,
Persons,
Rites,
Biosis.
This is the Eros of existance,
the acknowledgement
of her Domain,
Life.

And her name spoken
one thousand and one times,
spoken in fear, agony, and love;
But never leaving her embrace.

And asked the Magus;
"What is Her True name, Master?"
And Baphomet replied:
"Her name is Everywhere,
but everywhere is not her name;
Her name is Everything,
but everything is not her name;
Her name is in Everyone,
but everyone does not carry her name;
Her children as of her blood and flesh, and spirit;
so different but so alike,
and her children are not hers,
as she is them."

And Baphomet stood,
and looked to the night sky;
and he left saying nothing;
and pleasure, followed by sorrow,
followed his depart.

And the Magus started the rites,
the priest the prayers,
the fool was still playing,
while the Daring continued his journey,
to the place of no return.

And Hermes appeared, and said;
"Do not seek the One in this place,
for it is not proper.
Walk thineselves to the city of the Pyramids,
where the sun, Black as the soul of the damned,
shines His unholy light;
And there, thou shall find Him,
to pass the last test, and become as the Night,
around the Stars."

And they heard his voice with Terror,
and Sorrow, and Despair.
And a walk of the Damned started,
towards the place of Damnation Eternal.
"Woe to you,"
Said Baphomet,
"For the place is in your hearts."

And the Fool,
Continued to enjoy,
His Folly.
