So, for some reason you would like to know about Me...

Well, my username, or handle, as some will call it, "Matus" originates from a popular series of books from the 60's written by Carlos Castenda. There is some question as to whehter the chracter from which I am named after, Don Juan Matus, actually existed. Regardless, the philosphies and teachings the chracter presents are astounding and inspiring in many cases. He was sort of a pseudo-role model for me for some time, and the name stuck.

You can see what my general interests are from the previous pages, so I will not go into to those. As far as my school life and presonnel life goes, I am 22, I am studying Mechanical Engineering / Metalurgical Engineering (Or so I plan to) and I work at Pfizers (You know, VIAGRA) I also have a 3D animating Company called Democron 3D, feel free to contact me for some animations, I aslo run an online store called RuralNest, so if you are looking for anycrafts or such, check that out if you like.

So you read this far to learn about me, well, I am a pretty laid back individual, I really do not get upset at much of anything at all (with the exception of my brother, I don't know how he does it) and I do not worry about things, I find worrying has no direct imapct on reality, and really seems to be a waste of time and energy. I work as a computer Technician, but in all honestly I do not like computers all that much, or I should clarify that and say that I do not like WORKING on computers all that much. I do like computers as a tool, and the important changes they have made and will make on society.

I am also an atheist *gasp* I am an atheist because I study science, and because of something called Occam's Razor, a major priniciple in science, I do not believe that a supernatural "God" chrsitian or not exists. That of course does not mean that one DOES NOT exist, only that I do not believe so, but I do not feel like getting into a philosophy of science discussion at the moment. And yes I am a moral person, I do not drink, smoke, and have never done either in my life, and I treat everybody with respect and honesty, and I do not get angry at people (except my brother, I don't know how he does it) I do not hurt people, or steal, or lie, even though in some christians minds I have no moral reason not to do so. Well, there I was gettin ginto a philosophy of science dicsussion again.

Let's see, what esle is there one might, for some unkown reason, want to know about me... Well, I enjoy watching movies, and I, like many other people, want in my heart to be a director (look out John Woo!!)I like mostly action flicks, but I really enjoy anything that is well written and well acted, and or humrous or enlightening. I can not stand to watch TV either, well, more so commercials, I find them mostly annoying and insulting, so I do not watch much TV, only Babylon, which I buy now anyhow.
