......Camp Meeting 2007 was a tremendous success. With the powerful Spirit filled and led preaching of Richard Ledford, and equally spirit led teaching/preaching from Bob Eley, there was a powerful move of the Holy Spirit. Children of God were saanctified, filled with the Spirit with many anwsering the call to the mininstry and the mission fields. .....Brother Eley taught and preached in the mornings about the heart of the Christian. I have been preaching about spiritual revolution for a number of years, and, although, he did not use the same terms, I believe that that is what Brother Eley waa speaking of as well.
Jonathan all dressed up for church. He can no longer wear boys's clothes, and the shortest men's pants that I could find for him were a bit to long.
.....On Friday night, we had our Global Outreach Offering service. It was tremendous. When Brother Ledford gave a call for those who wanted to preach the word or be a missionary to raise their hands, Jonathan raised his. He will need a lot of prayer and I ask you to do that. The young couple at the right are the Criggers. We raised $1900 dollars a month support for them, which they need to serve in England, in just a few minutes. They will be leaving soon. They will also need your prayers.

.....Out in the campground, we had wonderful oldtime fellowship with talking, laughing, and sitting around teh camp fire at night. This is my great friend Lacey Griffith and my friend Carolyn Bowles. Lacey is a pure witness for God. He was staying at a motel and began to witness to a young lady from Porto Rico. And, she came came to Camp Meeting. On Friday night, she was also among those who went forward to be a missionary. There will not be enough room to fit jewels in Laceys crown.

......One afternoon, Woody, Jonathan and I rode a little on the New River Trail. I was tired when I returned.
......We left Greenbrier County on Sunday after morning worship and drove to Dublin where we already had the camper set up. We had not been there very long when Carolyn called out, "Hon, your sleeping bag is not on the truck." Ether some one had taken it where we had stopped,or it had blown out. I hope that latter is the case.
......It was cold that week and I had to sleep under three thin blankets. But, after a few days of this, my good friend and pastor of our Second Creek Church, Don Trent, and his wife went to Wally World and bought be a new bag. God bless them.
.....We came home on Sunday tired but knowing that we had been in Camp Meeting. We always sit on about the thrid row of our lage facility where I can be close to the front. I like to get out in the aisle and dance in the Spirit. Jonathan enjoyed himself and danced a little as well. I always feel that, if yuo are going to sit up fromt, you need to set the example and not sit lake a block of wood. We are already looking forward to next year. Goed bless you all!!
