The site of the former barracks of the Italian soldiers, this is across from the memorial and abuts the Greek shrine. This building is handmade of stone and very interesting to look at.

Many Italians and other tourists come here to pray and to look at the memorial. It is behind the city of Argostoli high on a hill near forestland, close to the former barracks and near the area where the soliders were murdered. Fresh flowers and personal items are left here. It is extremely quiet. All you can hear is the whispering of the wind through the grasses.
