I started this California Links section out of sheer homesickness.
There's just something about the fragrance of eucalyptus trees and quiet back roads leading up into sun-baked hills that means peace to me.
And even though California is physically further west than Arizona, Nevada, and Utah, it has never felt like the "Far West" to me. Truth is, those states feel like the Far West. By the time I cross the California border, it feels more like a land unto itself, creating its own reality and generating its own way of life.
Basically, I'm just adding a link to this page whenever I come across something reminding me of what is special about California.
