Survivors
SPACE Clouds have begun to gather overhead.
SPACE Tell-tale clouds. Dark clouds. Storm clouds.
SPACE The storm is gathering again.
SPACE Two figures have begun making their way towards shore, swimming in what appears to be somewhat shallow water. One seems to be struggling slightly while the other, a brown skinned man, follows right behind. Although the current is still mild and the sky not quite dark enough to be worried about, it is obvious that the swim is difficult. They are beaten and injured, just as the rest of the survivors.
SPACE The limping man and the two barbarians are sitting in the shallows and talking. The brown-haired barbarian walks over to one of the many fruit-bearing palm trees and climbs in search of nourishment. Once halfway to the top, a large fruit bat flees its daytime roost and flies off over an upcropping of coral and into the jungle. He finishes his climb and knocks several yellow gourd-like fruits from their branches. The blonde barbarian is inspecting the limping man’s leg. The barbarians are eating the fruit and sharing it with the injured man.
SPACE A blonde woman has stopped to speak with a rugged-looking dwarf and another woman. The blonde, despite having washed up on the shore along side the other survivors, moves with a certain elegance. The dwarf seems sturdy, though patches of blood has caked to the side of his face. The other woman, also grey haired, though very youthful looking, stands beside the dwarf nodding. The two women are wearing colorful clothing. Although ripped and salt-stained, it is apparent that they were not in the rowing stations below the decks of Salty Death.
SPACE There are other bodies lying about, some of them ex-slaves and some of them ex-crew members of Salty Death. None of them are stirring.
