Reunited

SPACE Grant enters the hallway, his face illuminated by the soft red glow of the bug-light.

SPACE “Grant!” Alliandra calls out. “Don’t come any further; the floor opens up there.”

SPACE Grant turns about and talks to several other figures. It seems two strangers have joined the group.

SPACE “Swim over to here!” she finishes.
SPACE “Where are ye, girl?” the sour dwarf calls out.
SPACE “Swim to your left,” she answers him.

SPACE Silence for a moment. Then…

SPACE “Kavan and Tarsis are unconscious,” he yells. “Kavan may be worse than that. We can’t swim them over.”

SPACE More silence.

SPACE “Can you swim back to us?” he calls.

SPACE Alasdair interrupts the conversation from deeper in the darkness. “Hey, I think there’s a tunnel over here!”

SPACE The chittering sound returns, louder than before.
