Ca' Farsetti - The Farsetti family,
from Tuscany, was a highly cultured one and they were enthusiastic collectors
and patrons of the arts. Abbot Filippo Vincenzo collected models and plaster
casts of the most famous ancient sculptures and made them available to
young artists. One such young artist was Antonio Canova.
