PLEASE DON'T TURN AWAY |
Although I sit in a silent world |
My memory may not be intact, |
Speak to me of happy times, |
Don't look at me with tearful eyes, |
I cannot speak the loving words, |
But I'm trapped inside my body |
But someday I'll be going home, |

This poem really touched my heart when I first came across it. It still has that effect even now, every time I read it. Wouldn't we all like to make this fervent plea to all our Guides and Helpers from the Spirit Realms who work so hard with us and for us, willing us through this earthly life, unceasing and unending, driven by the one power of the Universe - LOVE. |
