FOR THOSE YOU LOVE

My heart is filled with love for you,   My family and my friends. But how can we communicate -   This love that never ends? A word may help, a gentle touch,   A gift, a smile, a tear. What can we think, or say, or do   For those we hold so dear? If thoughts could leap from mind to mind,   And love from heart to heart, Then we could still express our love   Although we were apart. Though we may struggle to convey   Our truth to those we love, Our caring human hearts reflect   The joy of God above.
