I suppose my most time-consuming interest is the internet. I became addicted to it about nine months ago. (See? I am admitting my problems...)But I have always been facinated with the concept that I can talk to someone from all the way across the world, yet read what the other has written in a matter of seconds. I think that the internet is highly underrated. I know that it is sometimes difficult to communitcate through the computer, but it IS amazing...
I am also a violinist. Music is probably where I put my soul when it is tired of living my body. I've played the violin for eight years, and I have enjoyed almost every minute of playing. My choice form of playing is solo, but I do love to play an orchestra concert when you can truly feel how the orchestra is playing as one person. I don't know if that statement makes sense, unless you have played in a band or orchestra, or sung in a choir...
I also dearly love to read. Books have been my friends through my childhood and they are still today. I am very much an escapist, and books provide the perfect means for my escapism. I love to read pretty much anything, but fantasy is my favorite type of literature. The reason I want to be a write when I "grow up" is because of my deep love for books. I thank my father and mother for my love of books.
I am a humanist. I do love people, even though I am very bad at parties and in big groups. I love to learn about people, and listen to them. They facinate me. And their actions and habits facinate me, as well. I enjoy helping my friends with their various and sundry problems. So, if you ever need help, I am always around with an open ear...
I am also rather fond of Tarot. I haven't had much time lately to play with my Tarot cards, but I do enjoy reading a person, on occasion...
I do have quite a few more hobbies and interests, but I don't want to bore you...:}
