The Magic Slate...


Oh, come along now! I know that ye have heard of the Magic Slate! It is one of those carbon cardboard objects with plastic on top! You write on the plastic, it makes words, you lift the plastic up, and the words disappear. Now that you know what the Magic Slate is, allow me to tell you where it was invented!

The magic slate was invented in 1927, by a man named R.A. Watkins. He created this marvel of modern technology in an abandoned corset factory, in Aurora, Illinois!
