An old/new friend showed this quote to me. It brought tears to my eyes.

I'd like to dedicate this previous quote to some very special people. To Kelly & Todd who reflect the essence of the quote in its entirety. Kelly died on February 7, 2006 and now more than ever can I say that the above quote could never be more true. I can only remember the times and the feelings in my mind. Knowing that she'll never be physically in my presence. I dedicate the SHINING LIGHT poem to Kelly. How could I have known that when I wrote it would be so apt at this time.
MY FRIEND TAZ!
This picture is etched in my mind. It will live there forever. It will always remind me that home is where the heart is. It was my home for a short & sweet time and being there brought me contentment & a feeling of peace. My friend Greg commented that "It sure looks like a corner of Paradise there. You'll carry this trip in your soul forever." Yes I will...I speant another 2 weeks there over New Years 2000 and another Summer visit and funny! but it was still like "coming home" for me *smiles*. The pictures I took on the links below were taken with a disposable camera and posted on the Internet by Blacks Camera.

THE LITTLE BOOK POEMS
I was a Proud Poet of the week in 1997, on The Poetry Super Highway. A great sight for poets and the Poet of the week games go on :) If you're a poet you should enter, or a least see the site. There is still a regular newsletter and lots of activity.
This was awarded to me by someone I've never met and I cherish it.
