My first book one of my teachers gave me it's called The Truth about Witchcraft Today by Scott Cunningham. I suggest this book to all new Wiccans and anyone interested in finding out about wicca, it tells you a little bit about everything.
Wicca A Guide For the Solitary Practitioner, the book that followed that one is Living Wicca a Further Guide for the Solitary Practitioner, and Cunningham's Encyclopedia of Magical Herbs also by Scott Cunningham.
A Witches Bible Compleat, The Witches' Goddess and The Witches God by Janet and Stewart Farrar.
When I first started these books help me a great deal. Just remember even though they have written a book does not mean it's the way it is or has to be. Make your own judgements about what you are reading. As I said on my info page, if it doesn't seem right or comfortable for you, it probably isn't.
