I am 26-years-old and have been Celtic Pagan for about 5 years now. I own a 22-year-old horse, and love her with every piece of my heart. I enjoy singing, making jewelry with clay, and of course horseback riding.
I was in a coven for almost a year but we got separated and now I practice on my own. Doing my own rituals and magick makes my life feel complete. I live by the Wiccan Rede "An ye harm none, do what ye will".
It's funny how life just seems to find the things you are most comfortable with, and helps make it easier to deal with life's pains. If it weren't for my religion, I don't think I would have been able to get through my life as easily as I have. When I feel like I am losing control of my life I just meditate and make myself feel better.
I have one suggestion for new wiccans: if what someone tells you about wicca does not seem comfortable or right, it probably isn't. Just remember: if you are doing something that you don't feel comfortable doing, or is wrong in your eyes, then you have crossed the line into the "grey area" or "black area," which is not a good thing. I do believe in the threefold law. Whatever you do to someone will come back to you three times harder and faster.
That is the joy of this religion you can tailor it to your needs and comfort.
