Only Time Will Tell

Immortal Anguish
Tearing at my very soul
Lucidity of thought
Driving me insane
The need to be complete makes me wild
Searching through eyes that can not see
Trying so hard to fill a void only I seem to feel
Striving for a unacomplishable goal
Praying, hoping, wanting,
For something even I’m not sure of.

Wishing, yearning, needing this one thing
So easy to me, but so hard to you
Simplicity at its finest 
A compromise to be made
A life hangs in the balance
Yours, mine, ours
Happiness to fill this void
Totality to make me whole
One hundred percent given and taken
That’s all it needs

Will anyone bend until they break
Only we know
