LINER NOTES
FOR MY MIX TAPES
If ever there was a classic case of "This guy needs to get a life!", this is it! I'm a former DJ, and I love music. I especially love collecting music that is not so well known, and putting all my favorite tracks from various albums and CDs on tape so that I can play them back in exactly the order I like.
People making mix tapes is not so unusual. But I write liner notes for mine! This clearly puts me over the top. But I like to learn little bits of trivia about my favorite music, composers and performers, and then share that with others. So, assuming that there are other folks out there who might possibly be interested in reading this stuff, and since I've got some spare room on my Web page, I thought I might as well post it. Enjoy! --Mike Nichols
P.S. -- If you find any mistakes in them (and I'm sure there must be some!), please drop me a note and let me know about it.
